Certified NYS Navigators are available to help you enroll through the NY State Health Marketplace the last Thursday of each month in the Town of Webb Board Room at the Visitor Information Center in Old Forge.

Ongoing   Morning Yoga - Yoga is now offered as a 10 session punch card.  You can go to whichever 10 sessions you choose to attend.  You can now also go online and sign up.  Yoga has been shown to increase muscle strength, maintain bone integrity, and improve balance, coordination, and mobility.  These gentle, therapeutic classes are open to anybody and any age.  No Restriction needed. Yoga classes are held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8:30 am, and evening classes are offered on Monday and Wednesday starting at 5:30 pm.  Cost for 10 sessions is $100/$70 members.  For additional information, please visit www.viewarts.org

Wed Jan 22 Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Experience with John and Thera Levi - 5:30pm at the Old Forge Library. This is an opportunity to learn and practice techniques for mindful connection with nature. Cultivate balance and inspiration and release stress. Get outside and go within and learn the benefits to body mind and spirit. Sat & Sun Jan 25 & 26 Ken Lyon Sr. Memorial Ice Fishing Derby - 1st thru 4th Lakes only. The weigh station is located at Alger Island Access Area on 4th Lake. Saturday: Starts at 7:30 am, ends at 4:00 pm, Sunday: Starts at 7:30 am, ends at 2:00 pm. Buffet starts at 3:30 pm at the Forestport Fire Hall. Cash prizes for largest fish (based on entries) are for: Pike, Lake Trout, Tiger Muskie & Landlock Salmon. Prizes for largest perch and trophies for kids under 10 years old. Bait is available at the weigh station, provided by Hometown Bait. Registration forms available for PICK UP at the following locations: Sled Works, Wigwam, Randy's, Kratzy's Bar, Keith's Taxidermy, Rookies, Otter Lake Station, Hometown Bait & Fox Bros. Automotive.
